The Disappearance of Mary Green
62 year old Mary Green was last seen in Richwood, West Virginia on June 18, 2026. She was last seen at her home on Greenbrier Road that afternoon.
Disappearance
On June 18, 2026, Mary Green was last seen standing in the yard of her home on Greenbrier Road in Richwood, West Virginia. According to her husband, it’s something she always did while he fixed supper.
At approximately 3:30 pm he went to call her in for dinner, but she was gone.
It is believed she may have gone into the woods near her house.
Mary suffers from dementia. She does not drive, and investigators say it’s unlikely she’d get into a car with somebody.
Investigation
Authorities have used thermal drones, search dogs, and a helicopter to search for Mary, but no further clues as to her whereabouts have been found.
“Right now especially in the beginning part of this search and rescue we started off prioritizing most of the roads and maybe some common trails, logging roads,” West Virginia State Police Senior Trooper David Tallamy told WCHS. “Then we’re branching out from there as the search progresses.”
Appearance
White female with grey hair and green eyes. Mary stands 5’3 tall and weighs 130-145 pounds.
She has medium length hair and wears eyeglasses, though it’s unknown if she was wearing them when she went missing.
Clothing & Accessories:
Mary was last seen wearing a cream colored sweater, grey sweatpants, plastic shoes, rings on all her fingers, and a gold necklace.
