Lauren is originally from New York, but has previously lived in Virginia. She had been living in Pennsylvania for less than a year prior to her disappearance.
Disappearance
On August 2, 2024, Lauren Steele was last seen by a friend in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Lauren had plans to travel to Las Vegas for rehabilitative treatment after being victimized by human traffickers.
On August 5, 2024, Lauren spoke to her family and said her flight had been delayed, and that the airline was putting her up in a hotel room. This is the last time Lauren spoke with her family.
Cellphone data shows her phone took a flight from Pennsylvania to Chicago to Las Vegas, but authorities say they have no proof Steele was with her phone on those flights.
Pennsylvania State Police have classified Lauren as missing and endangered because of medical and mental health problems.
Appearance
White female born on August 30, 1988. Lauren has blonde hair, green eyes, stands 5’4 tall, and weighs 115 pounds.
She has tattoos on her upper thigh, shoulder, right and left torso, and forearm.
