The Disappearance of Peggy Johnson

28 year old Brandon Hummel was last seen near his home on S. Wilson Lane in Atoka, Oklahoma on January 23, 2024. He hasn’t been heard from since.

Disappearance

Brandon Hummel was last seen near his home on South Wilson Lane and West Artesian Road in Atoka, Oklahoma on January 23, 2024. He hasn’t been seen or heard from since.

He left his phone, tablet, shoes, and clothing behind at home. According to his mother he had recently met new people online, though she says she didn’t pry too much because he’s an adult.

Hummel had a history of leaving home without a lot of communication, so he wasn’t reported missing until a month had passed.

He leaves behind two children, a 6 year old boy and 5 year old girl.

Investigation

The Choctaw Nation Lighthorse Criminal Investigations Unit is handling the missing person’s case, with help from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

Officers searched in both Atoka and Johnston counties for Brandon, but have turned up no evidence as to his whereabouts.

Appearance

American Indian male with brown hair and brown eyes. Brandon stands 5’11-6’0 tall and weighs 180 pounds. He normally has a trimmed mustache and goatee. He is enrolled with the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma.

Brandon has several tattoos; a star on the left side of his neck, a skeleton on his left hand and fingers, barbed wire on the top of his right shoulder, a heart on the corner of his left eye, and Pac-Man on the left side of his face.

His mother is offering a $5,000 reward to anyone who has information on her son’s disappearance.
